Spirit of Africa 2017

In connection with the Seattle Center Festál series on May 13, 2017, the Spirit of Africa featured food, art and performances representing many of the different countries on the continent of Africa. Founded and produced by a local Senegalese griot musician, the festival showcased the talents of African musicians, dancers, and artists in the Seattle region and from around the country to celebrate the rich cultural heritage initially of West African -- and now all African -- people.
