Artifact Day 2014 at the Burke
January 25, 2014 was the annual artifact ID day at the Burke Museum. Past Artifact ID Days have uncovered such rare items as a 5,000-year-old stone tool, a twined basketry doll made by a Tlingit weaver, and a drinking cup made from a walrus’ tusk. The public is invited each year to bring the things they've been collecting so that experts can help to identify the items. These photos are from artifact ID day 2014.
