Festal Spirit of West Africa 2015

Every May the Seattle Center festal Series features the Spirit of West Africa. This year the event was held on May 9 and featured drummers, dancers, singers and a fashion show -- all representing the art and life of various west African countries and peoples of the diaspora. Visitors also enjoyed workshops, authentic west African foods and of course a marketplace of clothing jewelry, books and more.
