Native Arts Day at the Burke 2014

Annual Burke Museum celebration of Northwest Native art. Participants watched demonstrations and examined the incredible artwork of local Native American artists, who are experts in mediums such as weaving, basketry, and beadwork. Visitors took part in hands-on art activities for kids and adults. The day also included talks about supporting indigenous artists and various basket and weaving techniques of Northwest Native Peoples.
