Art for Equal Justice: In Support of Pierce County Pro Bono Programs

A Gala Evening and Art Auction presented by the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Foundation and the law firm Gordon Thomas Honeywell Malanca Peterson & Daheim, at the Tacoma Art Museum. Washington State Alliance for Equal Justice friends and supporters braved the first Western Washington snowfall to attend this splended event on December 1, 2007. With an inspirational keynote by our community's own John Mckay, former US Attorney General, Western District of Washington and music by the incomparable Righteous Mothers, the auction raised funds that will benefit Pierce County's pro bono programs: Tacoma-Pierce County Lawhelp Center, the Housing Justice Project, the Coordinated Family Law Project and Volunteer Legal Services.
