Center for Children & Youth Justice: Norm Maleng Advocate for Youth Award

Created in February 2006, the Center for Children & Youth Justice (CCYJ) is a private, nonprofit organization with a mission unlike any other in the state: reforming the juvenile justice and child welfare systems. The Center’s focus is on fair and unbiased decision making, systems reform, education, public policy, research, and publications. The Center is led by Justice Bobbe J. Bridge (ret.), President of the Center’s Board of Directors.

This event on May 7, 2008 was an opportunity for the more than 200 attendees to demonstrate their support for this organization. The CCYJ also gave its first Norm Maleng Advocate for Youth Award to Judy Maleng and Mark Maleng.
