Chaya and API Safety Center Annual Dinner 2011
Chaya and the API Safety Center celebrated "The Power of Community" on October 15, 2011 at the Seattle Sheraton. The event included, dinner, and auction and a program featuring keynote speaker state representative Jeanne Kohl-Wells. This annual fundraiser means continued services to victims of crims and survivors of violence. These two organizations have officially merged which means ongoing culturally specific and relevant services to women in need. Collectively the advocates from these organizations have answered crisi hotline calls, provided intensive case management services to victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault and other crimes. These advocates have facilitated support groups, organized violence prevention programs and sponsored community programs, trainings and conferences reaching more than 5000 people.
