PILA Sweet Sixteen Annual Gala and Auction
The University of Washington School of Law Public Interest Law Association (PILA) presented: "Sweet Sixteen" at Seattle's Grand Hyatt Hotel on February 25, 2011. This event was PILA's 16th annual benefit auction and hall of fame awards event. PILA is a non-profit, student-run organization dedicated to promoting legal work that serves the public, and improves the quality of life for individuals in our community and elsewhere.
PILA funds the largest portion of its public interest work through a benefit auction. Besides being enormously fun, the auction is a rare opportunity for students, faculty, and practitioners to work together for a common purpose: to improve access to legal services in our community and around the world.
