Social Justice Fund NW Annual Dinner 2010
Social Justice Fund NW is a member-funded foundation that supports the creation of a just society through fundraising, grantmaking, and member involvement. The foundation provides essential resources to organizations in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming to strengthen grassroots efforts in the broad-based movement for progressive, systemic social change.
On Saturday October 23, 2010 at Daybreak Star in Seattle, WA, more than 180 people came together to celebrate the "Next Generation of Grassroots Philanthropy." At this event SJF NW welcomed its new executive director Zeke Spier while saying a grateful goodbye to outgoing executive director Magdaleno Rose-Avila. Social Justice Fund is proud to announce that they raised over $64,000 Saturday night thanks to the sponsors and attendees.
