UIATF 47th Anniversary Gala Native Life in the City

On Saturday May 20, 2017, Native Life in the City: A Fundraiser Honoring 47 Years of Tradition. Held at beautiful Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center in Seattle, this was a festive fundraising dinner and awards ceremony with dance and music performances, and a silent auction in support of United Indians of All Tribes Foundation. Since 1970, nonprofit United Indians has served low-income Native Americans of all Tribes from throughout the Puget Sound area. The event also celebrated and honored founder Bernie Whitebear’s mission to provide educational, cultural, and social services that reconnect Indigenous people in the Puget Sound region to their heritage by strengthening their sense of belonging and significance as Native people.
